Afraid that you could hurt your clients or other stakeholders and end up driving them away. So you just swallow your response and accept, grudgingly, whatever you are being presented with.

Many business people are faced with this dilemma in their daily business operations. They just do not know how to say no to the things that their firm does not need, and which might even end up being too costly for them. It's usually important that you learn the art of saying no once in a while. It's normally hard at the start, but once you get the hang of it, you will find it becoming easier by the day. But the truth of the matter is if you keep accepting those low offer clients, chances are that you will miss out on the big ones. This is because you won’t have the time and even space for them. Moreover, saying no to such a client is all about respect. For other people and businesses to respect you, you have to respect yourself first. And that starts with you rejecting some things that are beneath your firm.

It may be hard at first, but if you keep at it, you will soon have the freedom that comes from having numerous income streams. Thus, you won’t be desperate for an offer to be able to pay your bills.
